being coupled to its train back to Seifersdorf. As the lower part of
the Weißeritztalbahn is currently closed, this water filling has to
suffice for the trip to Seifersdorf and back to Dippoldiswalde, where
it will be watered again. 2001-09-25.

snowy weekend of this winter. On the Weißeritztalbahn, all steam
locomotives seem to carry their old DR numbers again. Behind the
locomotive, you see a cream/orange salon car.

The steam locomotive for narrow tracks 099 729-6 is in the depot of Zittau to get its light
oil for firing. In the years after 1990 some of these locomotives became a firing with
light oil.
02.03.96 Photo and scan by Alex Strueder ; http://home.rhein-zeitung.de/~astruede/ |

Steam locomotive 99 1762 has just arrived from Freital-Hainsberg and
is now running around the train. Note the locomotive shed
inside the station building just behind the loco!
Photo and scan by Marco van Uden It looks like a locomotive shed, but it was actually a track for unloading/loading luggage cars inside the station. Now out of use. |
