Ex-works 2-8-2T 086 521 approaches the station platform at Dillingen (Saar), in May 1971. The BDEF was holding its’ annual convention in the area and ran a special train as part of the festivities. 086 521 ran bunker-first to Neuenkirchen (Saar), where the train reversed and proceeded via Wemmetsweiler over the branchline to Lebach. returning from there the 2-8-2T ran to Wemmetsweiler, where 053 091 took over. The 2-10-0 worked tender-first via Neuenkirchen to Teurkismuhle, where she ran round and then proceeded via Hermeskeil and Nonnweiler to Trier, then back along the main line, to Dillingen.
