Zwotental railway station building
Station building of Zwotental located on the Chemnitz–Aue–Adorf railway. First performed under the name Zwota, the station was eventually renamed in 1902 in Zwota station and 1909 in Zwotental. Although the railway line branched off to Klingenthal, the station was only with the opening of the border connection Klingenthal–Untergraslitz in 1886 and the railway line Falkenstein–Muldenberg 1892 a major transport hub. Today, the former junction station still fulfills the branch function towards Klingenthal, the tracks were reduced in the late 1990s up to two tracks. Photo taken Sunday 14 October 2001.
