The old station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards west from the Europaring bridge on 17 September 2002. The
two highspeed tracks in the middle are used by all trains (at normal speed) at
this time, the track for the S-Bahn (urban trains) on the left is not used. On
the right is one track of the siding. On the left side of the tracks is the new
transformer station which will be supplied by the 110 kV line being under
construction in the background.
