The old station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards east from the Europaring bridge on 17 September 2002. The
two highspeed tracks in the middle are used by all trains (at normal speed) at
this time, the track for the S-Bahn (urban trains) on the right is not used. On
the left is a siding with two tracks. The old catenary masts in this area have
been removed. A new distant signal was installed at the S-Bahn track on the
right.
