The new station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards east from the western end on 7 September 2002. The edge of
the new platform is nearly finished, some meters are still missing. In the
foreground (and further west) the track for the S-Bahn (urban trains) was just
tamped, even the rails are covered by grey dust. In the background the track
forks into two tracks towards Horrem.
