The new station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards east on 15 August 2002. On the left is the first ballast
layer for the track of the S-Bahn (urban trains), on the right the platform
will be errected. The different walls on the right seem to be intended for a
way for pedestrians and bikers that will pass the platform and lead to the
Erfttalstra&szlig;e bridge in the background.
