The old station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen from northwest on 27 December 2001. The new siding on the right is in use
at this time, the double-slip switch is operated by hand. In the background a
piece of the northern highspeed track is already built to connect the siding
with the remaining old track.
