The old station of Sindorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking westwards from the Europaring bridge on 28 October 2001. On the
left the single track for the S-Bahn (urban trains) was just assembled. To give
ballast tampers and other work trains access to the new section, it is
connected with the switch of the removed siding. In the background the old
tracks are connected with the new highspeed tracks.
