The new station of Merzenich on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen from the south side on 22 February 2003. The platform for the S-Bahn
(urban trains) is roughly finished, even some signs can already be seen. The
elevator under this end of the roof is still missing. The entrance to the
station is visible on the right.
