The new station of Merzenich on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen from the south side on 23 November 2002. The tunnel seems to be more or
less finished, now the southern track for the S-Bahn (urban trains) is
reconstructed above it. Behind the track you can see the staircase on the right
and the elevator on the left. Around this the platform will be built.
