The new station for the S-Bahn (urban trains) in Lövenich on the upgraded
line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen from the Goethestra&szlig;e on 24 September 2001. The view onto the
eastern pillar shows the bridge for the southern S-Bahn track on the right and
the bridge for the platform on the left. At the left edge a part of the bridge
for the northern S-Bahn track is visible, north of it is the bridge for the
highspeed tracks. The hole in the platform marks the place where the elevator
will be built. Behind it is one of the staircases, the other one was in my
back.
