The station of Königsdorf on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards west from the pedestrian bridge on 1 February 2002. On the
left is the platform between the tracks for the S-Bahn (urban trains). On the
right the new highspeed tracks seem to be finished. As the whole traffic will
run on them for some months, they were fitted with temporary platforms for the
trains that stop here.
