The upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
just east of the Bonnstra&szlig;e, between K&ouml;ln-L&ouml;venich and
Frechen-K&ouml;nigsdorf, seen from the south side on 20 March 2005. In this area
a new stop for the S-Bahn (urban trains) will be built. The trees were already
removed. On the ground in front of the railway line, a tram station is under
construction. The possibility of changing to the tram here will make it easier
to reach the western parts of Cologne for passengers coming from west with the
S-Bahn.
