The station Köln/Bonn Airport seen on 13 June 2004, the first day of
regular service. This is the view from the southern access area into the
central part. The visible gangway above the tracks is just an access to the
emergency exits, but can also be used to change between the platforms. The
northern access area, which directly leads to Terminal 2, is hidden in the dark
background. On track 3 ICE 849 to Berlin Ostbahnhof is waiting for departure.
