The new station at the Köln Bonn Airport seen from the northern end of the
western platform on 12 October 2003. Above the eastern platform the northern
access level is visible, with stairs leading down on the left and escalators on
the right. There will also be elevators, note the rectangular holes in the
access level and in the platform. The metal bar next to the hole seems to be
intended to hold the catenary which is still missing. This access level is in
fact the lowest floor of the Terminal 2, in the best case you have to walk
about 100 m from the plane to the train.
