The station Köln/Bonn Airport seen on 13 June 2004, the first day of
regular service. This is the view from the elevated street next to Terminal 2,
above the northern end of the station. The central part is covered by this
glass roof, which lets a lot of light inside (note that the platform area is as
bright as the scenery outside). The southern access area is located under the
elevated street in the background and the area behind it. Behind the small
yellow bus on the lower street, the exit with a temporary roof is visible. The
way from there to the corner of Terminal 1, which is visible at the left edge
of the picture, is by now not covered. In front of the elevated street is the
bus stop of Terminal 1.
