This is the railway station of Holzminden in Lower Saxony, Germany seen on
January 31st, 2004. The station building was finished in 1881. To the left, the
tracks lead towards Altenbeken, to the right, they go towards Kreiensen.
On the left hand side, next to the station building, you can see parts of one
of the two locomotive sheds at Holzminden. This one is used by the local bus
operating company now. The other one, which lies further to the left and cannot
be seen on this photo, is empty at present.
