View towards south from Gößnitz railway station with street bridge and interlocking tower. Train with cabcar type 'Wittenberge' in ocean-blue colours reaching the station at the moment of the shoot. Gößnitz is the crossing station of the lines linking Leipzig and Hof on the one side and Gera and Glauchau on the other side. On the platform of Gößnitz you can find a plaque with the inscription „Willkommen auf dem längsten Bahnsteig Deutschlands“ ("Welcome to the longest platform of Germany"). Photo taken 30 April 2001.
