The station of Düren at the end of the upgraded line from Cologne
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards south from the platform of track 1 on 22 May 2002. The
platform between track 3 and 5 has been removed west of the staircase (left). I
guess that an elevator will be constructed in this area, connecting the
platform with the pedestrian tunnel. In the background is a new platform with
a staircase on the left and an elevator on the right.
