The station of Düren at the end of the upgraded line from Cologne
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards west along track 3 on 29 April 2002. Behind the switch,
track 2 was built up new. It seems that the connection to the tracks on the
south side (left) was not finally aligned yet. The part of track 2 inside the
station visible on the right is connected to track 1 in the background and used
for trains towards Aachen, note the exit signal at the right edge.
