This building was built in 1857 by the Leipzig-Dresdener Eisenbahn as "departure hall" of the station Leipziger Bahnhof. In 1901 with the opening of the new station Dresden-Neustadt this station was closed for passenger traffic and used for freight trains since then. Today only a part of the building remains, mostly in ruins. 2001-07-29
