Dresden Hauptbahnhof, view of the big hall where the tracks from the west end. To both sides of the hall, elevated tracks for through trains to Schöna and Praha are going east - west through the station. In this picture from January 2001 you can see the recently installed blue train indicators. The platform between track 13 and 14 is higher than the others, which is why most ICEs begin and end here. It is planned to renew the whole roof with a new transparent membrane in the same shape, keeping most of the steel structure.
