The station of Buir on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen from the southern platform for the S-Bahn (urban trains) on 18 February
2003. There is a staircase and an elevator at the end of the northern platform.
The southern one has no elevator because there is enough space to build a ramp.
Near the right edge of the picture the old signalbox can be seen. The hole
appearing below it from this viewpoint belongs to the new tunnel, which
contains a street and a pedestrian way with access to the platforms.
