The western end of the station in Buir on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen from the north side on 23 August 2001. The old line is on the left. The
southern highspeed track is nearly invisible after a lot of ballast was put
onto it. The northern new track has still only one rail, but I'm shure the
other one will be added later.
