The station of Buir on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards west on 26 July 2002. While the part of the new tunnel
under the highspeed tracks on the right is already finished, work is still
going on at the part under the area for the S-Bahn (urban trains). On the right
the eastern end of the northern platform is under construction. The western
parts of the platforms in the background seem to be more finished.
