The station of Buir on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(<a href="http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/christoph.schmitz2/strecke/strecke.html">ABS 4</a>)
seen looking towards east on the south side on 22 June 2002. The new platforms
for the S-Bahn (urban trains) are under construction. At the end of the edges
is the new tunnel that will replace the level crossing in the background.
Behind the acoustic wall on the left are the highspeed tracks.
