Bremerhaven Hbf, a view out to the North. There is a railway maintenance
car, an EVB DMU waiting till the StadtExpress(SE) train to Twistringen
has cleared track 2 and a RegionalExpress(RE) train with a class 218 diesel
locomotive which will be pushed into the station in a few minutes, then
leave again to Cuxhaven.

Bremerhaven Hbf, seen from the south side. As usual, the station is
deserted. (In Bremerhaven, there is a period of high traffic from
:28 to :39, the rest of the time there are practically no trains except
for five InterRegio trains. [summer schedule 98/99])

The beautiful old station building of Bremerhaven Hbf on a sunny day.
Once Bremerhaven had three stations of this type, but the building in
Bremerhaven-Wulsdorf was teared down in the 1960s and the building in
Bremerhaven-Lehe today hosts an AL** supermarket and a hotel.

Bremerhaven Hbf, the station building seen from the stairs of the
main post office. The building on the right belongs to Deutsche Post AG,
it has its own track, probably used for mail service long ago, but today
it is used by the Postbank.

several big ugly graffities were removed.
