Hannover, Nordstadt station: Three different signalling systems close together: a light signal in the front announcing the following Ks-signal and a semaphore right of the engine in the background. There are more semaphores behind the place where I was standing, but I could not get them on the photo, too. So this is a place where a train may pass three kinds of signals without going further than perhaps 400 meters. However, the semaphores marking the exit of Hannover-Hainholz, are being replaced by Ks-signals in early 2000. Photo: Sven Herzfeld (herzfeld@maschsee.han.de)
