On 22 May 2002, the remaining seven of the eight containers forming the new
electronic signalbox (elektronisches Stellwerk, ESTW) in Düren at the end
of the upgraded line from Cologne
(ABS 4)
were lifted into position. This truck with one of the containers is waiting on
a parking place next to the station.

were lifted into position. The container already standing there was placed some

the background the new platform and the old station building are visible.

were lifted into position. This is the third container of that day. As it will
form one room together with other containers, this sidewall is open. A
temporary cover was attached for the transport.

of the upgraded line from Cologne
(ABS 4)
were lifted into position. In the background the fifth container of that day
(the sixth in total) is nearly in the correct position. Two other containers
will be added on the right side. In the foreground is the new platform.

The new electronic signalbox (elektronisches Stellwerk, ESTW) in Düren at
the end of the upgraded line from Cologne
(ABS 4)
seen from the north side on 31 May 2002. All of the eight containers forming
the building are in position, now a nice roof is added, making it look more
like a house.

the end of the upgraded line from Cologne
(ABS 4)
seen from the north side on 19 July 2002. Now that the walls are painted, it is
nearly impossible to see that this building consists of containers.
