Owner logos says KVG (Kassele Verkehrsgesellschaft) and DB (Die Bahn AG). But it isn't really true: Unit 1013 (built by Bombardier/Kiepe) was delivered to Stadtbahn Saar GmbH (RBS) in Saarbrücken and is still in its ownership. But the lines on which it should be used are not ready built today. So the trams are rented to RBK (Regionalbahn Kassel - a joint-venture of KNE and KVG) and serves the line from Kassel to Warburg (Northrhine-Westfalia). Kassel main-station on 5th of June 2003.

"Long live..." - no, not Rock'n'Roll but capitalismn in its sensfull forms... Why this sarcasm? Learned some economics, I (and some wise others) watched a tendency in our system to planning for the future, even in cases the future is not able to estimate. But that is a charachteristic of (so called "real") communism. So only difference is: In communism that units would be rotten. In capitalism they will find a way to earn some bucks... (Sorry for the politics, but first I couldn't resist, second, public-traffic is in every case a thing of politics - cause the decisions are made by politicians - and third: No pun intended.)
