485 017-8 (fragment). Class 270, later 485, was built 1990 to
1992 for the S-Bahn Berlin. Some of the trains went out of
service from 2003, others are still in service after some redesign.

(Alexander Square). Here a S-Bahn (urban train) leaves the station, what is
on the square. The picture is taken in summer 1993 -- you can see the GDR
was gone, because of the buildings being renovated by western technology...
