The level crossing at Distelrath at the eastern edge of Düren seen on 25
September 2003. On the left the tracks lead into the station of Düren. On
the right the line leads to Zülpich and Euskirchen, with a track branching
to the depot of the Dürener Kreisbahn (DKB) some hundred meters further.
The track in the foreground seems to be unused. Note the funny arangement of
three barriers. The crank handles are visible next to the yellow building, just
behind the Andrews cross seen from the back. I'm not shure if the barriers are
still in use, maybe the crossing is secured manually.
