Cologne-Aachen) with a train transporting briquets from Cologne to Düren
on 27 December 2008.

MRCE 500 1648, a black G 1206 loco that the Rurtalbahn has leased
from Mitsui Rail Capital Europe (MRCE), is parked at Düren on 19 January
2008.

Diesel locos "Josy" (right) and 6.305.1 "Sally" (left) of the Rurtalbahn are
parked at Düren on 6 February 2005. "Josy" (delivered in 2004) was the
first one to wear this new livery, which was then also applied to "Sally" when
it returned in the beginning of 2005 (after repairing the damages of the October
2003 accident). "Josy" (type Vossloh G 1206) is longer (14.70 m to 12.00 m),
heavier (88 t to 72 t) and more powerful (1500 kW to 1030 kW) than "Sally" (type
DH 1004), and it has disc brakes.

Diesel loco "Josy" of the Rurtalbahn (type Vossloh G 1206) returns with a
Rheingold special from Zülpich on 3 October 2004. Running on the so called
Bördebahn the train is about to enter the city of Düren. This line
has no regular passenger traffic at this time, but there is a coal train
running three times a week. Most level crossings are not operational and have
to be secured by hand.

Diesel loco "Josy" of the Rurtalbahn is waiting at Horrem (on Cologne-Aachen) in
the evening of 10 February 2005. Travelling with DNG 80153 (Cologne-Lendersdorf,
coal and other goods for the Kanzan paper factory), it was overtaken by RE 10134
(Hamm-Aachen) here.

Diesel loco "Josy" of the Rurtalbahn is waiting at Horrem (on Cologne-Aachen) on
3 June 2005. It arrived from Düren short before, after reversing it is now
waiting for departure to the siding at Sindorf, where it will obviously pick up
some local freight.

Diesel loco "Josy" of the Rurtalbahn passes Lövenich (on Cologne-Aachen)
with an empty train from Lendersdorf to Köln-Nippes on 22 September 2007.
On the way back this train transports briquettes for a paper factory. Two
platforms of the S-Bahn (suburban railway) line Cologne-Düren are visible,
those at Lövenich in the lower left corner of the picture and those at
Köln-Weiden West (about 1.3 km away) on the left far in the
background.

A Vossloh G 1206 diesel loco without any operator inscriptions is parked at
Düren on 26 January 2004. As far as I know, it normally belongs to the
HGK (Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln), and is hired to the
Rurtalbahn (former DKB) to replace two locos damaged in an accident in October
2003. The Rurtalbahn has already ordered a new G 1206 for its own.
