Diesel loco 6.306.1 of the Dürener Kreisbahn (DKB) seen at Düren on 7
October 2003, after a serious shunting accident in the previous night. The
train consisting of 6.305.1 (which was damaged less), 6.306.1 and four coal
cars overran a buffer stop and derailed. At this time 6.305.1 and three of the
cars are already removed, the fourth car is about to be lifted away. The
accident also destroyed some signal cables, leading to delayed operation on the
Cologne-Aachen line in the following days.
