This loco was built as type MaK DE1002 in 1988 with fabrication-no. 1000831. It starts its service for the HEG (Hersfelder Eisenbahn Gesellschaft) a part of HLB (Hessische Landesbahn). When service was finished at this line the loco was lend to RAG. After modernization it is labeled for service at BLE (Butzbach-Licher Eisenbahn) another part of HLB.
