Breisgau-S-Bahn VT014 "Gutach i. Br.", line S3 Waldkirch - Freiburg, between Buchholz and Denzlingen, 2003-04-05. Up to december 2002, DB locomotives of class 211, 212 and in the last years 218 with "Silberling" cars were running on this line. Since then it is operated by the Breisgau-S-Bahn with RegioShuttles (up to 5 cars per train). Fortunately the timetable frequency has been increased greatly, with one hourly train Freiburg - Elzach and on workdays another train per hour Freiburg - Waldkirch. A great improvement over the time when this line had no weekend service at all and irregular trains on workdays. Photo: tobias b köhler
