The tracks of Regio-Bahn should be electrified until December 2020. But there are delays in construction ("Hello Berlin Airport"). Anyway, the ordered EMUs will be delivered in time! ("Hello Bombardier"...). The owner is the regional traffic-organisation VRR (Verkehrsverbund Rhein Ruhr) and they lend the vehicles to their contractor Abellio (see "KBS 450.28 Kaarst-D&uuml;sseldorf-Mettmann-Wuppertal" Bahn-Report 5/2020, page 48).</br>
Abellio 3427 011 (94 80 3427 511-5 D-STAP [Stadler 42343/2019], 3827 011-2 [42344/2019] and 3427 011-6 [42342/2019] all REV|Stadler Velten|03.09.20) on line S2 arrived in Dortmund-Mengede on 18<sup><span style="font-size:60%">th</span></sup> of October 2020.<br />
