The traditionszug of the HSB in its characteristic green livery and Mallet
steam locomotive NWE 11 (99 5901, exactly 100 years old!) crosses a train from
Harzgerode to Gernrode. The traditionszug was being towed back to Wernigerode
by a diesel locomotive (not seen on the picture). The day before it had
operated an extra train because of the festivities for "100 years Mallet 
locomotives in the Harz area". Alexisbad, 10/02/1997.
