Electric drive of a mountain locomotive of the Bayerische
Zugspitzbahn. Three such drives, each consisting of a motor
with separate cogwheel, were installed in the mountain
locomotives. The 500 V DC motors each had a power of 510 kW,
the maximum speed was 12 km/h and the track gauge 1000 mm.
To stop the train there were band brakes to both sides of the
cogwheel.
