Bayerische Zugspitzbahn "valley locomotive" No. 3, built 1930 by
AEG. 224 kW, 50 km/h. The BZB consists of two sections, adhesion
from Garmisch to Grainau, cogwheel from Grainau to Zugspitzplatt
and Schneefernerhaus; originally the locomotives were changed in
Grainau. Today two locomotives (No. 1 and 4) are still in service
for shunting, No. 2 is plinthed in Partenkirchen.
