Brohltal-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (BEG)

Narrow-gauge (1000mm) flat car loaded with containers for transporting Phonolith®, a special sort of rock mined in the mountains near Brohl, and brought down to Brohl by freight trains over the main line of the BEG. At Brohl, it is possible to transport these containers further by

• rail (main line freight trains via the connection to DBAG tracks)
• ship (BEG rail access to the port on the river Rhine)
• road :(
