Karsdorfer Eisenbahngesellschaft Diesel Locomotive. Unit 0620 is an 0-8-0 diesel shunter originally built in 1979 by the Lokomotivbau-Electrotechnische Werke in Hennigsdorf bei Berlin for the Hydrierwerk chemical company in Zeitz. It is seen near Leipzig Ostbahnhof on Friday September 20th, 2002.

Karsdorfer Eisenbahngesellschaft Diesel Locomotive. Unit 0752 is ex-CD 721 515 built in 1965 by CKD in Prague and used at the Stahlwerk Kladno. It is a diesel electric locomotive fitted with 2 4-wheel trucks and is rated at 551 kW, 738 hp and has a top speed of 80 km/h, 50 mph. It was located near the Leipzig Traction depot and photographed on Tuesday May 6th, 2003 was still there on the following Sunday.

Farewell journey due to closure of the railway line Werdau–Wünschendorf From May 29 to May 30, 1999, the scheduled traffic on route number 542 Werdau–Wünschendorf was closed down. Against this route cancelling the initiative 'May 29' of the action alliance 'Red Thistles' of the PDS Zwickau organized final public special trains, stopping at all stations and stops on the route. The photo was taken at the Seelingstädt station showing DR passenger cars and KEG 204, a former V 180 owned between 1995 and 2004 by the Karsdorfer Eisenbahngesellschaft. Put out of service in 1993 and sold to KEG. Leased by DB between 1995 and 1999 and numbered 771 901. Scrapped in January 2007. Photo taken in October 1997.
