DRE 798 307, Gera Railway Depot Deutsche Regionaleisenbahn DMU 798 307 leaving Gera Railway Depot on a small round-trip during open-door day of Geraer Eisenbahnwelten. Put into service 15 January 1962 and originally numbered VT 98 813. Later renumbered to DB 798 813. After serving on DB tracks until 1984, it was rebuilt to an Indusi measuring carriage numbered 728 001. After 2000 it served AKN-Eisenbahn AG where it got its today's number. Today it is owned by Deutsche Regionaleisenbahn (DRE) and housed at Schleiz. NVR classification is 95 80 0798 307-4 D-DRE. Photo taken Saturday 30 May 2015. DRE - Germany I couldn't identify this wreck that once was a motor car, but it actually is former motor car T3 of the NVAG (now NEG Niebüll). It was sold to Danish museum railway AaV and later bought by DRE from Germany, but it is now in such a sorry state that it is very unlikely that it will ever run again.
