27 March 2001, station: Pforzheim Hbf, Germany
V 180 001 of the Eisenbahn Betriebs Gesellschaft mbH Oberelbe heading a timber train composed of leased Hungarian Eaos wagons. On 26 December 1999, the gale "Lothar" devastated large tracts of the forests in south-western Germany. The still usable timber from these areas has since then been put on the market by and by, and is typically transported away in whole trains by private rail operators.
