Bayerische CargoBahn Diesel Locomotive.<BR>
BCB V100 001 is a 1975 LEW Henningsdorf built B-B diesel locomotive rated at 1060 kW, 1420 hp with a top speed of 80 km/h, 50 mph. It was originally DRB 110 864 becoming DB 201 864-6 after unification and in 1997 was sold to Regiobahn Bitterfeld GmbH. It was re-powered with a Caterpillar engine in 2000 by Adtranz Kassel. Photographed just south of Marktredwitz from train RE3593 on Sunday September 22nd, 2002.
