At least since three decades the old platform in Gütersloh Nord has seen no 
railcars on
both sides. Until the end of passenger service in 1978/79 left track No. 5 
was for the
Versmold/Lengerich and right track No. 3 for the Verl/Hövelhof(-Paderborn) 
destination.
