DE 669 of the Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln
(<a href="http://www.hgk.de/">HGK</a>) approaches D&uuml;ren (on
Cologne-Aachen) on 27 March 2004. This train looks like DFG 46318
(Oleggio-Antwerpen), a train that used to be hauled by electric locos (first
class 145 of HGK, later class 482 of SBB) all the way from Basel to Aachen in
the past. It seems likely that now the class 66 diesels take over at Cologne,
whatever the reason for this might be. On the right is the platform edge of the
S-Bahn (urban trains) station Merzenich.
