"Pommesbude" is the nick-name of locos in this style here in the Ruhr-area. It means a snack bar where you get "Currywurst mit Pommes" (sausage with curry-ketchup and french-fries) a traditionally fast-food here, comparable to fish'n'chips in GB. The "Pommesbuden" built by Krauss-Maffei or Orenstein+Koppel and operated by Dortmunder Eisenbahn are well known. But Henschel in Kassel (today Bombardier) was able to play the game too.
