The Danish State Rilways won the rights for rebuilt of the machines, originally built for the NSB
(Norwegian State Railways). The NSB order was cancelled, due to Siemens not being able to deliver fully
functional locomotives at the aggeed terms. Instead Siemens decided to rebuild the locomotives into
"Dispoloks" -locomotives for rent/lease.
